Ceremonial grade is the smoothest and finest quality matcha which is produced from the youngest tea leaves at the top of the Camellia Sinensis plant at the very first harvest of the year (spring to early summer). Because of its silky smooth texture, subtle sweetness and its delicate flavour, ceremonial-grade is best served straight with hot water. This grade is used for traditional tea ceremonies.
