Sifting matcha is one of the most important steps to make silky smooth matcha. 

Fine matcha powder tends to clump due to static electricity build up.
Pushing matcha through a super fine mesh of our matcha sifter breaks clumps apart and allow you to have creamy textured matcha when you drink.

 

How to make silky smooth matcha

  1. Sift 2g (half a tea spoon) of matcha with a fine mesh sifter into a tea bowl.
  2. Add 60ml of hot water in the bowl.
  3. Whisk with a bamboo whisk for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add more hot water. (Or add milk of your choice to make matcha latte.)

 

After use: rinse the sifter with water and dry well.
