One tree at a time!

We have a mission to make our planet a better place for the next generation. That is why “Every order plants a tree”! 

To start off we donated the first 40 trees through our partners ‘One Tree Planted’ back in 2019. Huge thanks to our lovely customers, we have been growing that number every year. 

We had selected Australia for our donations in response to the devastating bushfires in 2019/2020 and restoring native habitat vital for wildlife since we started our journey. 

From 2023, we will plant trees where they’re needed most.
That means your tree could be planted anywhere in the world!

<This is how it works>

For every purchase on our website, Matcha and Forest will donate US$1 - this is the cost to plant a single tree through One Tree Planted.

On the 1st of every month we will transfer the donations from all orders for the previous month to One Tree Panted. 

One Tree Planted then pools the donations for each project and finally passes on the funds to their reforestation partner, enabling them to cover the costs required to get these trees in the ground! 

The time between your donation and the actual tree planting will vary depending on the time of year.  Planting usually happens during the rainy season, when the soil provides optimum conditions for tree survival.  

We will send you an update when your tree is actually part of a forest somewhere!
