Our everyday Chasen is handcrafted from a single piece of strong and sustainable golden bamboo.
This 100 prong bamboo whisk is perfect for everyone who wants to make smooth and frothy matcha at home!
<BEFORE FIRST USE>
Fill a bowl with cold water and soak whisk's prongs for 1-2 mins before its first use.
Then soak them in hot/boiling water to make prongs stretch out. (Once stretched out, they won’t curl back again.)
Now you are ready to make frothy matcha!
<BEFORE EACH USE>
Fill a bowl with hot/boiling water and soak whisk’s prongs for 60 secs to make the prongs flexible and prevent from braking.
<AFTER EACH USE>
Rinse the whisk and gently shake off the remaining water. Leave it to air dry.
<IMPORTANT>
- Do not store it in its original plastic container. It might cause mould on the whisk.
- Should mould occurs, place your chasen in boiling water.
- Do not wash the whisk with soap.
- Never put it in a dish washer.
